The space is semi-open plan with one double bed and one sofa suitable for a small child in the private bedroom, raised living area with two day beds doubling as further sleeping space for two adults or children, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with open fireplace and another day bed sofa suitable for a child in the "sunset lounge". The private bathroom has a hot shower and toilet. Glazed patio doors give access to two shaded outdoor seating areas, the plunge pool and braai, with spectacular sunset views. A further shaded courtyard garden with seating, beautiful views and a hammock for two is perfect for soaking up the winter sunshine or taking a break from the heat of summer afternoons. A third set of glazed patio doors off the dining area open onto the best sunset views at The Place.

Red Rock Cottage (x1)
Red Rock Cottage is situated away from the farmhouse in a secluded copse of trees at the foot of a beautiful red sandstone outcrop, called Red Rock. The setting is sheltered and peaceful with views towards the sunset and nothing but acacias, Klein Karoo koppies and veld. The cottage comprises two spacious double en suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own separate entrance and the en suite bathrooms with hot showers are modern, spacious and completely private. A sofa bench in each room doubles as a single bed for children or adults. The first bedroom has it's own fireplace and a small private stoepie with seating at the back of the cottage. The living area is open plan and consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and lots of storage. The dining area sits adjacent to large windows and glass patio doors, opening onto the outside living area and views of Karoo koppies and veld. The lounge area has two comfortable sofa benches which also double as single beds for children. The free-standing fireplace ensures cozy winter nights. Glass patio doors open onto the shaded private outside space with table and seating, outdoor lounge area, private plunge pool plus braai. If you are not the braai type; there are patio fires to keep you warm outside whilst enjoying the spectacular Karoo night skies.
